Medellin Metro System regulations
These are the rules, regulations and laws that apply to the Metro, and the list of entities that regulate their correct application.
Administrative development system
Decree number 883 of 2015 Through which the structure of the Municipal Administration of Medellín, the functions of its agencies, dependencies and decentralized entities are adjusted, some decentralized entities are modified and other provisions are issued.
Decree 1685 of 2015 Through which the Integrated Planning and Management Model - MIPYG - is adopted for the Municipal Administration of Medellín.
Decree 3109 of 1997: Regulating the authorization, the provision of public mass passenger transportation services and the use of the Nation's resources.
Metropolitan resolution No. MO-001331: By which the regulation for the transportation of pets in public transportation with metropolitan radius of action and the Integrated Transport System of Valle de Aburrá (SITVA) is adopted.
Laws
Law 86 of 1989: Whereby norms are issued on urban public service systems of massive passenger transportation and resources are provided for their financing.
Law 105 of 1993: Whereby basic provisions on transportation are issued, competencies and resources are redistributed between the Nation and the Territorial Entities, planning in the transportation sector is regulated and other provisions are issued.
