Besides commuting people. Metro offers them opportunities to have contact with art performances while commuting, making them extensive to the impact area population, as well.

Metro encourages reading through four libraries at Itagüí. San Antonio, Acevedo and Niquía stations, called Bibliometro, that offer books and magazines to be borrowed by commuters, as well as free web surfing, and movies.

Palabras Rodantes [Rolling Words], publishes small format books that are made available for commuters at dispensers located I the stations for them to take a copy, read it, and return it for others toread it. Both programs are done in association with Comfama.

In the so-called culture trains, commuters may appreciate image and text exhibitions of Antioquean and national personalities.
