New functions and a complete information system, Medellín Metro System presents to its thousands of users a new application for their mobile devices.
In the new App, users will be able to find information on integrated and feeder routes; check the balance of their Cívica card and have at their disposition a complete trip planner.
As a new feature, users will be able to report in real time the occupancy level of the train cars so that other users, in the following stations, can move on the platforms and improve the quality of the trip.
The new App will be available for cell phones with Android (version 4.4 and higher) and iOS (version 11 and higher) operating systems.

These are our new services and functionalities:
1 Plan your trip
Set a departure point and a destination and you will be able to know the types of transportation you should use, their cost, distance and travel time, in maps that include the information of all the modes of transportation operated by the Metro (train, tram, cables, buses and feeder routes), as well as all the integrated routes of Valle de Aburrá.
2 The Cívica balance is just a click away
Getting to know this information has never been so quick and easy. In addition, you will find links to recharge your card online, identify the recharge points closest to where you are and more detailed information about this payment method and electronic collection of the Integrated Transport System of the metropolitan region.
3 Service status
Now you will be able to know the status of each one of the Medellín Metro System lines, through green, yellow or red icons, which will indicate if the operation is normal, if there are new developments or if there is a temporary suspension of the service.
4 Occupancy report
Now it will be possible to know the occupancy of the train cars thanks to the reports made by users traveling in our vehicles on lines A and B.
5 Upcoming trains and their occupancy
With the passenger occupancy report, users waiting at the station platforms will be able to consult and decide which of the cars to board.
